Stroller Recommendations for Carol
Betty here. From what I understand, you're looking for a compact stroller for everyday use that can also be used for jogs and walks on rugged terrain. You'd also like to use it with a bassinet, infant car seat and toddler seat. Taking into consideration the other features you're interested in as well - large storage, adjustable handlebars, and easy to fold, to name a few - I've pulled together some recommendations for you. Shopping for a stroller can be pretty overwhelming, so I've limited my recommendations to three.
I recommended the Uppababy Cruz V2 and Nuna Mixx Next because they are really great full-sized stroller options and have all the features you're looking for. They're not built to be jogging strollers, but they do have larger back wheels for more comfortable rides on long walks and uneven terrain. My third recommendation is the Thule Urban Glide 2. It's a jogging stroller that is on the lighter side so it functions nicely as an everyday stroller.
I know you're early in your search, so consider these recommendations a starting point. Check these out and I'm happy to adjust my recommendations as you start getting more clarity on what you're looking for. Some things I suggest thinking about if I were you are:
- Do I want a stroller that is built for jogging? If so, you can get one stroller like the Thule which serves both your everyday and jogging needs OR you can get two strollers, one for everyday and another dedicated just for jogging.
- Am I comfortable with this price point? Uppababy and Nuna are premium brands, but there are other great options if you want to save some of your budget for other items. What you'll likely give up are quality in materials, ease of maneuverability, and bulkiness. This is very subjective though, so when you've narrowed down your options I'd recommend testing out the strollers in person if you get a chance.
I think I've given you plenty to think about here. Look it over and shoot me a text if you have any questions. I'm also happy to setup a quick consultation to chat more.
